Update on Fires of Concern

The Ministry of Natural Resources is dealing with a number of fires of concern.
Red Lake Fire 84 is nearly 14,000 hectares in size and is burning out of control about 50-kilometres northeast of Ear Falls.
The MNR says the fire has escaped control to the southeast and is again threatening power lines.
Sioux Lookout Fire Number 70 is also not control and is over 70,000 hectares in size near the Musselwhite Mine site.
An Emergency Area Order is in effect.
Sioux Lookout Fire 35 is about 79,000 in size and burning about 9-kilometres east of New Osnaburgh First Nation.
An Emergency Area Order remains in effect.
