The Cities emergency procedures were again put to the test today.
A system failure at Dryden Telephone knocked out service for about an hour affecting all DMTS customers including 911 emergency lines.
Cell service, internet and interact machines were also down.
City staff, Fire and Police were patrolling the streets for those who needed assistance.
However, no problems were reported.
Full service has been restored.
The cause of the failure is still under investigation.
