Shaw Cable is upgrading its service in Atikokan.
The Company plans to introduce Digital Television by the end of the year, allowing viewers to access a full range of stations not currently available.
Shaw also plans to launch Internet service, which was introduced last year.
A Company Spokesperson says they believe the changeover will be a smooth one and hope to have both services available by the end of the summer.
