The use and trafficking of crystal meth is growing in some areas of northwestern Ontario.
Provincial Police Inspector Nathan Schmidt says they are seeing an increase in the use of the drug in Kenora and Fort Frances.
Schmidt notes it’s not as prevalent in other areas including Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay.
The latest incident was in Fort Frances, where six people were arrested on possession charges.
They were charged with 36-different offences.
Schmidt calls the bust a “good eye-opener” for officers.
