The Province says its strengthening the forest sector in the Northwest
by opening up the white birch wood supply for local job creation.
Up to 400,000 cubic metres of unutilized wood will be made available on a yearly basis
in the Thunder Bay-Atikokan area.
Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown says the Government is now accepting
proposals to create new jobs in the Region.
