Kenora MP Roger Valley wants to see changes made to the
the Canada Ontario Rural Infrastructure Program.
Valley told a roomfull of delegates from the Kenora
District Municipal Association the funding formula should
be tailored to small northern communities.

Valley adds communities spend a lot of money to ready
their projects when applying for COMRIF funding.
He suggests a funding agent be put in place to return
the city’s money if they are not succesful in their COMRIF
bid.
