Provincial Police in the Thunder Bay district are investigating after a vehicle failed to stop at the Pigeon River border crossing.
The incident happened Wednesday morning around 9:00.
OPP eventually stopped the black vehicle on Highway 61 but the driver fled and was later arrested.
No one was injured and the road remains closed at this time.
