Vehicle Fire At Parkdale Road Home

Quick thinking by a Dryden vehicle owner helped prevent major damage to a Parkdale Road home.
Dryden Fire was dispatched to a vehicle fire Saturday night.
Crews knocked down the flames within 10-minutes of the call, and spent the next 30-minutes putting out hot spots in the engine compartment fire.
The owner of the vehicle spotted the smoke and moved the truck away from the home before the flames erupted from under the hood.
