The Vermilion Bay Minor Hockey Association is gearing up for a new season.
Marketing and Media Director Greg Dayman says a new executive has been working hard in the off-season to prepare for this year.
“Newly elected President Lance Delorme. He’s on board. He’s been with Vermilion Bay Minor Hockey as a player, as a coach, to some degree for many, many years. We have our Vice-President Adam Gauthier who has come on board this year.”
Dayman stresses “Everybody’s got a fresh new look, motivated. And it’s all about getting the kids on the ice. And for this year it’s a little bit of a challenge with the COVID but we feel out in Vermilion Bay that the arena is set up in way that allows us to offer the program.”
You will enter the rink through the front doors and exit through the side doors.
There will be no games to start or physical contact.
All controlled practices will focus on skill development.
There are three registration options including full-season, half-season, or pay as you go.
The season is slated to begin October 19.
