VIA Rail Returning To CPR Line?

The Liberal MP for Thunder Bay-Atikokan seems confident there will be good news for Northern Ontario residents when the throne speech to open Parliament is read this fall.
Stan Dromisky, who recently announced he is stepping down from federal politics to spend more time with his family, hints an announcement about VIA Rail running on the CPR line in Northern Ontario is coming soon.
Dromisky has been campaigning to have VIA return to the line over the past few years.
VIA currently operates on the CN line which means the passenger train does not stop in Thunder Bay, Dryden or Kenora.
However, Dromisky seems to believe Canadian Pacific will allow VIA to use its rail lines once again.
