Northwestern Ontario’s finest were honored at a special ceremony in Thunder Bay last Thursday.
5-members of the Dryden Fire Service were presented with long service medals.
John Kitt was recognized for 40-years of service, with Keith Apland receiving a 35-year medal.
Ken Kurz and John Popien were thanked for 30-years of service and Robert Coles 25-years.
Ear Falls Chief Gary Gazankas received a 35-year service award and Oxdrift firefighter Paul Bradley 25-years.
