Wabaseemoong Woman Caught At Security Checkpoint

The Treaty Three Police say a 29-year-old woman faces trafficking charges after trying to get through the Wabaseemoong Checkpoint with drugs and alcohol.

Police and security stopped the woman last Friday night.

Officers had information that the vehicle might be transporting drugs and alcohol into the community for reselling.

The woman, who is from White Dog First Nation, faces charges of trafficking drugs, trafficking marijuana, unlawfully delivering liquor for a fee and illegally selling alcohol.
