Wabigoon First Nations Man Faces Several Charges Following Armed Robbery

A 25-year-old Wabigoon First Nations man is in custody following a manhunt.

Dryden Police issued an arrest warrant for Nicholas Pitchenese following an incident this morning.

Police say Pitchenese entered a North Dryden home and attempted to rob the home owner.

Police note Pitchenese had a gun and it was discharged during the incident.

No one was hurt.

He faces charges of break and enter, committing robbery with a firearm, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.
