An important fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River is fast approaching.
The “Walk for Alzheimer’s” is scheduled for April 22nd starting at New Prospect School in Dryden.
Program and Events Coordinator Mary Carter was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday and says there will be a 2-kilometre and 4-kilometre walk.
Carter says all money raised stays in the district to help those dealing with dementia.
