Walmart And Ice Dogs Support Dryden Bowlers

A strong offensive year from the Dryden Ice Dogs has helped local bowlers.
Ice Dogs former trainer Jim Wright says the Walmart “Score for a Cause” campaign was another major success this year.
The annual fundraiser is a joint partnership between Walmart and the Junior Hockey Team.
Wright says Walmart donates $3 per goal, $1 for an assist and $50 for shutouts.
This year a donation of $1,036 is going to the Sunshine Bowlers to purchase t-shirts.
Sunshine Bowlers Club Coordinator Brenda Hazlewood says each of the 23-players are going to receive badges for their skill levels, which will be put on their new shirts.
Hazlewood says the team is open to any bowler with a disability, adding it’s a great way to interact with each other.
