The Manager of Dryden’s Walmart spent this afternoon in Jail, but not the kind you may be thinking of.
As a way to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network, Kevin Luhowy spent time in a “jail cell” inside the store, with a goal of raising one-thousand-dollars.
Front End Manager Maureen Wall says it’s part of a two-week long fundraiser, with a goal of 10-thousand-dollars.
Maureen says those who weren’t able to stop by today can donate anytime over the next two weeks at the cash register.
Walmart Canada has been a part of this for 20-years and has raised over 75-million-dollars for the cause.
