A key figurehead in the community of Red Lake has called it a career.
Fire Chief Walter Scarrow has officially retired.
Scarrow has been leading the Red Lake Fire Department for 13 plus years.
In a social media post Councillor Warren Badiuk stated, “Your dedication and commitment to Red Lake Fire Rescue has been exceptional from your joining of the department. Great job as Fire Chief for the last 13 plus years.”
