No one was injured in a house fire Sunday afternoon on Rodgers Road.
The Dryden Fire Service says crews arrived to the residence and
witnessed smoke and flames coming from the chimney and furnace unit.
Deputy Fire Chief Ken Kurz says all wood stoves and chimney’s older
than 15-years must be inspected.

The mother, 3-teenagers and 4 family pets escaped unharmed thanks to
smoke alarms and the use of a portable extinguisher.
