The Canadian Automobile Association is issuing a warning to motorists to be on the lookout for wildlife.
This is the time that moose and deer flock close to area highways.
CAA Spokesperson Korey Kennedy says if you see an animal, break firmly and never try and swerve around the animal.
Kennedy says October, November and December is a peak time for vehicle-wildlife collisions.
He suggests using your high beams at night to pick up animals on the side of the road.
