Water and Sewer Rates Going Up

Dryden City Council has approved new water and sewer rates.
Water fees will jump 10% next month and another 10% in
January, while the sewage rate will be 100% of that rate by next
year.
Director of Engineering Brad Johns says the hike is due to strict Provincial requirements.
Johns adds the implementation of water meters may be an option down
the road and public meetings will be held to discuss the issue.
