Water Levels Going Down

After a crazy summer, water levels on Lac Seul and Lake of the Woods
have finally stabilized.
The Lake of the Woods Control Board says inflows and water levels are
at near normal or just below average for this time of year.
Rick Walden says the wild swings in levels over the last 3 years, has
forced them to be more cautious with how far they bring down water levels
this fall.
Walden says water levels should continue to drop over the next few
weeks as they prepare for the winter freeze.
