Water Meters Coming On-Line

Breathing a sigh of relief, Dryden Councilor Brian Collins read out a motion to accept the new fee structure for water usage last night, thus ending the on-going saga of water meters.
The meters and the delays in installing them have been the topic of water cooler debate for months.
The end of shadow billing is June 1st and you will get your first bill under water meters in early July.
The fixed rate for water and sewer has been set at $3.06 per cubic metre.
What you see on your shadow bill now is what you can expect to pay.
