Water Restriction Lifted

The strain on the Atikokan Water Treatment Plant has been eased somewhat and as a result Town Officials have lifted a restriction on non-essential water use.
The notice has been in effect for over a month because of capacity problems at the Plant.
However, Director of Public Works Stephan Lychowyd reminds residents that the calendar system remains in effect until the end of September.
Odd numbered homes will be able to use water outside on odd numbered days and vice-versa.
