Water restrictions are now permanent in Dryden.
The City has turned to a system where odd numbered homes will be allowed to use water outside on odd numbered days and vice-versa.
The restrictions will be implemented on a yearly basis from June 1st to August 31st.
Under the Provincial Offenses Act, fines for violating the order could reach $5,000.
Director of Engineering Brad Johns says the measure helps ease the load on the Water Treatment system and reduces electricity costs for the City.
