KDSB Calls for Cash

That’s the message being delivered by the Kenora District Services Board which has sent 2 resolutions to the Minister of Health.
CAO Sten Lif says 3 years ago the Province promised to fund 50% of Land Ambulance Operating costs, but that still hasn’t happened.
Lif adds the Ministry has also failed to cover 100% of the costs to serve First Nation communities, which has resulted in a $631,000 loss for the KDSB.
He says past efforts to make the Government sit up and take notice have fallen on deaf ears but he remains hopeful.
