Water Treatment Plant in First Nations Community

Kenora MP Greg Rickford says the Federal Government continues to work on ensuring all First Nations communities in northern Ontario have safe drinking water.
Rickford made the comments yesterday during the opening of a new water treatment plant in a First Nations community in Parry Sound.
He says a main priority within his riding is making sure that all First Nations communities have access to safe drinking water.
The Paliamentary Assistant for Aboriginal Affairs adds the government also plans to introdce legislation that would hold the Feds and First Nations communities more accountable.
