We continue to avoid the wicked weather as the situation is a lot different in Thunder Bay and Duluth, Minnesota.
Environment Canada Meterologist Geoff Coulson says the Thunder Bay area saw 40-millimetres of rain overnight.
Coulson says another 10 to 30 millimeters of rain is expected today and may not let up until midnight.
The situation is also bad for our friends south of the border.
Up to six inches, or 15 centimetres of rain has been reported in and around Duluth.
Police are advising motorists not to go anywhere.
Reporter Alan Hoglund of WDIO television news says the streets are like waterfalls.
Hoglund says the water is collapsing roads and overflowing sewer systems.
There are reports of people having to be rescued from basement apartments and vehicles falling into sinkholes
Hoglund says there are reports of some animal casualties who have drowned at the Lake Superior Zoo.
