A cooler than normal spring and high water levels have put a bit of a damper on the camping season at Caliper Lake Park.
The Town of Sioux Narrow/Nestor Falls re-opened the park this year, after the province closed it last year.
Jeff Port is the town’s director of planning and development and says they actually had to close the park for a week back in June due to flooding.
Port says things just started to pick up the last week of July and things have been pretty steady through the first two weeks of August.
