The Criminal trial of former Dryden area Gunsmith Bruce Montague is
taking a break for the weekend.
Friday morning, just 2-witnesses were brought before the jury.
One was Montague’s neighbour in Eaton-Rugby Township, Dan Landrie.
Landrie explained what happened the day Montague was arrested in
September of 2004.
He says Montague was walking around the Dryden Gun Show with a gun slung
around his shoulder with a sign on it saying “for sale, an unregistered
firearm”.
Landrie also described the Montague’s as good neighbours, who were very
helpful and honest.
The trial is scheduled to resume on Monday in Kenora Court.
