There are no new cases of COVID-19 in the Northwestern Health Unit catchment area to report today.
The health unit updates their reporting by specifying where active cases are in the region every Tuesday by Health Hub.
Right now there are 4 active cases in the Dryden hub, 4 in Sioux Lookout, 1 in Red Lake, 1 in Fort Frances and 5 in Kenora.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon says there were 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 between January 25 -31, with no new hospitalizations and no one in the area is hospitalized with COVID-19.
62 people were identified as having high risk close contacts with known cases over the last week.
The current test positivity rate 0.43 percent, compared to 0.54 percent last week.
