The West Nile Virus has arrived in Northwestern Ontario.
Al Mathers is the Environmental Officer with the Health Unit and says
several dead crows have tested positive for the virus.
n032 runs: 23 sec. out…something unusual.
Mathers says he’s slightly surprised about the number of positive cases
this early in the season.
Last year, only 7 birds contracted the West Nile Virus, all in the
Fort Frances area.
