Another 2 birds have tested positive for the West Nile Virus in the
Kenora and Rainy River Districts.
The total number of cases this Summer now stands at 14 after the dead
crows were located in Kenora and Sioux Narrows.
The Northwestern Health Unit is reminding the public to take
precautions by removing any standing water on their property, wearing bug
spray and covering up at night.
Officials stress there has never been a human case of West Nile or a
positive mosquito in Northwestern Ontario.
