Westbound Train Spills Household Paint

The Ministry of Transportation and CN Rail are investigating a train
derailment about 51-kilometres east of Sioux Lookout.
CN Spokesperson Frank Binder says 9 of 37 multi-platform cars left the
track around 4 o’clock Tuesday morning.
Binder says the westbound train was transporting containers carrying
household goods and merchandise.
One of the cars spilled 75 gallons of household paint which was
contained on site.
The ministry of Environment is on site monitoring the clean-up.
CN hopes to have the track reopened sometime Wednesday afternoon.
No one was injured.
