Wet and Cold May

It was a wet month of May across Northwestern Ontario.
Dryden received 119.5-millimetres of rain last month, the most since 2004.
Sioux Lookout saw 111-millimetres, 46.6-above the normal mark, while Red Lake recorded 109.6-millimetres, 55-more then normal.
Pickle Lake set a record for snow in May.
54-centimetres of snow was dumped on the community.
Pickle Lake was also hit with nearly 103-millimetres of rain.
Winter jackets were also the norm in May.
It was the coldest in Pickle Lake where the average temperature in May came in at 4.4-degrees, nearly 5-degrees below normal.
Dryden was 7.2, the coldest since 2004, while Red Lake recorded its coldest May in 5-years with an average temperature of 6.1-degrees.
Sioux Lookout came in at 6.9-degrees, nearly 4-degrees below normal.
