Sioux Lookout easily beat out all ofther area communities in percipitation totals on the weekend.
Most of the activity was on Sunday where Sioux Lookout recorded 74.4-millimetres of rain or light snow.
That’s a new May record as it shattered the 1968 mark of 56.4.
However it didn’t come close to the all-time one day record of 115.8 set in September 1941.
