Weyerhaeuser Investigates Mercury

Weyerhaeuser says tests conducted by an Independent source indicate no adverse health effects from Mercury at the Dryden Mill.
26 employees wore air quality monitors between August 18th and 21st and according to the Company, all results were below Ministry of Labour limits.
The issue came to light earlier this year when a handful of contract workers on the Air Emissions project were found to have higher than normal levels of the toxin in their blood.
The Ministry of Labour and Northwestern Health Unit continue to investigate.
The Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers will hold testing in Thunder Bay November 12th 13th for workers that were involved in the project.
