Sioux Lookout Man Injured in Plane Crash

A Sioux Lookout man escaped serious injury after a plane crash on Prospect Bay on Rainy Lake yesterday afternoon.
OPP say a Beech Craft Floatplane was approaching Lakeland Aviation when the plane clipped some power lines causing the aircraft to spiral towards the water.
32-year-old Trevor Lorteau escaped the sinking plane and received only minor cuts and bruises.
The plane is submerged in 8 feet of water and will be removed pending the conclusion of the investigation.
