Next Step in Downtown Revitalization

The City of Dryden is moving forward on the next step of the Downtown Revitalization project.
A Winnipeg Consulting Group has been given the green light to begin designing the Second Phase, which concentrates on the Underpass and Riverside Walkway.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says they are also looking at enhancing the vacant property at the corner of Earl and Duke.
Hoogenboom says they hope to get some landscaping work done on that area this fall.
With so many revitalization plans on the go or on the drawing paper, Council has asked Staff to issue a progress report on costs and timelines.
That could take place by month’s end.
