Whiskey Jack Forest #1

Residents have until August 29th to comment on proposed

changes to the Whiskey Jack Forest Management Plan.

The amendment would allow harvesting in previously

reserved areas near Osprey Nests.

MNR Spokesperson David Anderson says the protective zone

would move from 800 meters to 300.

stop by the Abitibi Consolidated Kenora Woodlands Office

or Kenora MNR Office.
