Bio-mass and wood processing facilities are expected to bring jobs to the northern community of Whitesand First Nation .
The community’s Chief says they have received funding to establish a new industrial park.
Allan Gustafson says the facilities will employ 64 full-time and 60 seasonal jobs by 2020.
Gustafson adds the project will also enable the community to stop burning over 1-million litres of diesel fuel each year.
