For the second time in the history of the league, a representative of the Superior International Junior Hockey League will be going for a national championship.
The Minnesota Wilderness earned a spot in the Royal Bank Cup with a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory over St. Michaels on the weekend.
Goaltender Gordy Defiel was named the MVP of the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
The national championship starts May 11th in Summerside, PEI.
