The province is seeking public input in developing a long term plan for the Woodland Caribou Signature Site.
MNR Spokesperson Doug Gilmore says the sit near Red Lake includes Woodland Caribou Provincial Park, as well as other propsed additions.
Gilmore says they want to explore recreational and tourism opportunities that will promote economic development in the region.
The popular destination offers more than 2,000 km of canoe routes and sport fishing.
Public consultations will last 3 years.
