The City is trying to spruce up the downtown core before its first big festival however there are concerns that may not happen.
Council has approved the Downtown Revitalization Project’s Pre-Budget.
Brian Collins says $125,000 will be spent on consulting work, new banners as well as street light standards and fixtures.
However, funding applications to the O-Star program and FedNor may delay the start of work.
Officials have been assured that work won’t begin in the middle of Dryden’s first major Festival planned for June 25th-July 10th.
