One of Kenora’s longest serving municipal politicians has
passed away.
Former mayor, Kelvin Winkler died in a Toronto hospital Friday night.
Kenora mayor Dave Canfield says Winkler will be best remembered for developing the Kenora Harborfront.
Funeral services will take place this afternoon in Winnipeg at the Shaaray Zeetek Cemetary in West Kildonan.
