Wintle Named to Queen’s Volleyball Team

Another indication on how far the Dryden High School Volleyball program has come.
Former Eagle Sarah Wintle has made the Queen’s University Volleyball squad.
Golden Gales Coach Jamie Mastorakos says Wintle was only guaranteed a practice spot at the start but she played her way onto the team.
Mastorakos says they were most impressed with her attitude, strength and defensive skills.
He says Wintle will have a limited role this season, however believes she will be a force in the next couple of years.
The Golden Gales were last year’s OUA Bronze Medalists and are expected to contend again this year.
