The Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout continues to expand.
The Hospital has opened the doors to the new Medical Withdrawal Support Service Unit.
The Centre is a safe and confidential spot where clients may be admitted to receive treatment for drug or alcohol abuse.
Officials say clients may go home with a discharge plan or be referred to a regional treatment centre.
The Health Centre has 5-beds dedicated for the program as well as two nurses and counselors on site 24-hours a day.
The Unit already has 2-clients and officials continue to take referrals.
