Witmer Proposes Changes To School Board Funding

One of the candidates hoping to succeed Mike Harris as premier says she would like to see changes in the way school boards receive funding.
Elizabeth Witmer says she would take another look at the way the province funds school boards.
Witmer says the current funding formula is posing problems for smaller schools across the province.
She adds highways in the north would also be at the top of her list for further study.
Witmer addressed a group of Tory faithful in Fort Frances this week seeking support for her leadership bid.
