Woman Lies to Police

A local woman has learned it’s not a good idea to lie to Police.
The accused was stopped on Highway 17 for erratic driving.
The woman told Dryden Police that she had to attend to a family emergency.
Officers went to the home of the so-called emergency and discovered that there was none.
Police say Lorraine Wetelainen has been charged with 2-traffic related offences, failing to comply with an undertaking and obstructing police.
