Dryden Turning to Former Mayor’s and Councilors

Dryden City Council has 60-days to fill two vacant Council positions.
The vacancies are from last month when Councilors Kurz and Wintle resigned from their positions.
City Clerk Colleen Brosseau says the City is looking to former Mayors and Councilors to fill the position.
If more then 2-people run for the spots, a selection committee will be formed.
Under the Municipal Election Act, the City can’t hold a by-election after March 31st in an Election year.
Brosseau says she has been contacted by people interested in filling the positions.
