Wood Rights Announcement

Two businesses in Kenora have been promised significant wood allocations from the Provincial Government.
Weyerhaueser has accepted an offer for the timberstrand mill, while Wincrief will get a wood supply to start up its pole peeling plant.
The province says the wood allocation will help create 12 new jobs at the Wincrief pole peeling plant and 43 new jobs at the iLevel timberstrand mill.
The AbitibiBowater operation in Fort Frances has also received its wood allocation
